… not very good at summarizing or speaking in the third person. I grew up in Brooklyn and later Woodstock, NY. After studying stop-motion animation at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, I moved to Bristol, UK, where I worked at Aardman Animation, animating plasticine clay puppets. From there I’ve worked at various studios, including Laika in Portland, Oregon, creating CG, 2D and stop-motion animation as well as storyboards, character design and fabrication. Now I live in Elora, Ontario (yes, I ran away to Canada) where I co-owner of the historic Gorge Cinema and Mechanical Farm Animation with my husband and partner, Payton Curtis. (The guy who took the picture.) Our clients include Wes Anderson/20th Century Fox and we continue to develop our independent work- I love to explore new mediums and see how they all fit together.
